Australian Standards AS/NZ 3760:2010

The Australian & New Zealand Standard was revised & updated in January 2013 & currently stands.

The Australian & New Zealand standard covers all testing of single phase & polyphase equipment that can be connected to 240v – 415v by flexible cord.

All equipment to be tested includes equipment currently in use, to be re-sold, or hired out & includes all Residual Current Devices (RCD’S) & 3 Phase items.

Depending on the place of business and the environment which the equipment is kept, the testing intervals can be 3mths, 6mths, 12mths, 2yrs & 3-5 Years. This is outlined in Table 4 of the current AS/NZ Standard 3760:2010.
